Micro-blogging firm looks to refresh its look as user growth slows.

Twitter is reportedly testing a brand new design for users' profiles less than a month after its most recent layout refresh. The new user profiles bear a resemblance to the Facebook profile page design and also appear to take inspiration from the media-rich Pinterest layout.

Twitter redesigned

The design, has content displayed on "cards" of various sizes, similar to the way Facebook displays stories and the way in which Google's Now personal assistant software displays information.

The redesign seems to focus on the variety of content posted on Twitter, including photos, links and retweets.

It includes a larger profile picture than Twitter's current design, and a bigger, longer header image than is currently used.
