We offer UK based shared hosting services to all our clients. All hosting includes free email accounts ending in your domain name and webmail services. In addition we manage your weekly website backups for added peace of mind.
What is website hosting?
For websites to be seen on the web they have to be housed or stored on a secure server which is permanently connected to the Internet. This is Website Hosting. Although it's possible to host your website on your own computer, it's much safer and immensely more reliable to use a professional website hosting company. These web hosting companies have huge web servers connected to wide bandwidth leased telephone lines connected directly to the web.

Our website hosting company's computers use the latest Microsoft web servers with full support for ASP, ASPX, Perl, CGI, PHP, ISAPI and SHTML scripting. Additionally, the Windows servers offer full and unrestricted support for the .NET Framework.

How much is website hosting?
Website hosting costs depend on the type of website package you have and the type of website you need hosting. Hosting services are billed monthly in advance if applicable and payable by D/D. For some clients hosting is paid annually and to ensure uninterrupted service to those websites we operate a positive renewal system on all yearly hosting related services - you will be notified by email sixty days in advance that your hosting or hosting related service is about to expire and given the option to opt out of the renewal, if for any reason you do not contact us (within the fourteen day notification period), then we will ensure your hosting service continues and automatically renew your hosting or hosting related service for another year (excluding Monthly Payment Plan customers) and you are billed accordingly. Hosting my website
You are not obliged to use our hosting to host your custom website, so if you'd just like us to design and build your website and you host it, that's fine. We will advise you on the hosting requirements you will need to support your custom website. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more information on using 3rd party hosting. Please note: Pay as you go websites are not permitted to be hosted by a 3rd party host - aprompt will manage the hosting for you as part of the website package
Email-only hosting
