CD Packaging & Inserts
There are many different styles and types of packaging for your CD ROM.
CD Wallets
The simplest form of packaging is a paper wallet. These can come with or without a plastic viewing window at the front of the wallet. The PVC wallet is completely clear and slightly more robust than the paper version. Paper and PVC wallets are ideal for disks that are packaged in some other protective environment such as computer software boxes as the wallet does not afford the disk much protection.
Jewel Cases
Jewel cases are the standard packaging for CD-ROM's, they come in both "slim line" and "standard" versions and can be clear throughout or have a black back plate. Jewel cases are ideal for sending disks in the post where the package may be knocked. Jewel cases are ideal for CD's that require accompanying paper inserts or booklets,
DVD Cases
DVD Cases are "book style" cases that offer complete protecton for the disk. As well complete protection the DVD case also has sufficient internal space for a booklet or insert. Available in black or clear.
Case Inserts
For Standard Jewel Cases you are able have a "single sided" printed back with folded tabs that fill the spine of the case.
At the front of the case you can a booklet printed either single or double sided from 1 single page to 16 pages.
DVD Cases can have a single sided cover design that slips into a clear plastic sleeve on the exterior of the case. This design can cover either only the front or the front, spine and back. Inside the DVD Case you can a booklet printed either single or double sided from 1 single page to 16 pages.
